This policy covers endpointcheck.dev only. It is short because the site collects very little.
What we collect
1. Email address (waitlist)
If you submit the waitlist form, we store your email address and the date you submitted it. That is the entire purpose of the waitlist: to email you once when the product launches.
We do not collect your name, company, or any other field.
2. Basic, aggregated usage statistics
We measure page views and waitlist conversions using a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service. It records the page path and a coarse, IP-truncated region — it does not set cookies, build a cross-site profile, or follow you around the internet.
We use this to answer one question: which pages are worth writing, and does anything on this site actually convert. We do not use it to identify you.
3. Server logs
Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs (IP address, user agent, requested path) for a short period for security and abuse-prevention purposes. These are not linked to the email address you gave us.
What we do not collect
- No cookies, ever. There is no cookie banner because there are no cookies.
- No advertising or cross-site tracking pixels.
- No data from the free tools. They run entirely in your browser — what you paste into a tool never reaches us.
- No third-party analytics or advertising scripts on any page.
What we do with it
- We use your email to send you one message when the product launches.
- We do not sell it, rent it, trade it, or share it with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics vendors.
- We do not add you to a newsletter or a drip sequence.
How long we keep it
Waitlist entries are kept until you ask us to remove them, or until the experiment concludes. If the project is discontinued, remaining entries are deleted. Analytics data is aggregated and discarded as it ages.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to it. In practice, all of that comes down to one email.
To see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, emailprivacy@endpointcheck.dev. We will action deletion requests within 30 days.
Security
The waitlist is a single list of email addresses, stored as accessibly as we can manage, and the site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfect, and we will not claim ours is.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the "last updated" date above changes. We will not retroactively apply a weaker policy to data collected under a stronger one.
